Privacy Policy
Section 1 — What we collect and why
When you place an order we collect the information you give us — your name, email address, shipping address and the details of what you ordered, including any text you ask us to print on your labels. We use it to prepare and deliver your order, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of the sale. When you browse the store we also receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which helps us keep the site working. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we only email you about your own order unless you ask us to do otherwise.
Section 2 — Consent
When you provide us with personal information to place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Section 4 — How your order data is stored
Our store runs on a hosted website platform, which stores our order records on our behalf. We do not collect or store payment card details on this website — no payment is taken here. After you place an order, a member of our team contacts you to arrange payment through a separate, secure payment provider, and that provider's own privacy policy governs the information you give them.
Section 5 — Third-party services
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the store — our website platform, our email provider, and our payment provider — and only to the extent needed to perform those services. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, so your information may be handled under the laws of those jurisdictions. Once you leave our site or are redirected to a third-party website, this policy no longer applies to that website.
Section 6 — Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect the personal information we hold, including limiting who can access it and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of our security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Section 7 — Cookies and local storage
We use cookies to keep your session secure, and your browser's local storage to remember what is in your cart between visits. Local storage stays on your own device and is not sent to us until you place an order. You can clear either at any time through your browser settings, though clearing them will empty your cart.
Section 8 — Age of consent
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
Section 9 — Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes, we will notify you here. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
